Eligibility
Open to high school and college students worldwide. Participants may compete individually or in teams of up to four (4). No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law. Participants must comply with all applicable laws and Devpost terms. The organizer reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any participant who violates these rules or the code of conduct.
Project and Submission Requirements
Projects must be created during the Build Period. Use of pre-existing code, libraries, frameworks, and APIs is permitted, provided such use is disclosed and properly credited. Each submission must include a working demo (live link or video), a publicly accessible source code repository, and a written project description outlining the concept, implementation, and technologies used. Projects must align with the theme “Create art that couldn’t exist without technology.” Late, incomplete, or non-compliant submissions may be disqualified at the organizer’s discretion.
Prizes
Prizes will be awarded in categories including, but not limited to, Best Overall Project, Crowd Favorite, Most Unique, Best Interactive Experience, and Best Beginner Project. Prizes may include cash awards, sponsor-provided products or credits, and/or non-monetary recognition. All prizes are non-transferable and may be substituted at the organizer’s discretion. Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes and fees.
Judging Criteria and Winner Selection
Eligible submissions will be evaluated by a panel of judges based on the following criteria: Creativity and Originality (30%), Use of Technology (25%), Interactivity and Experience (20%), Execution (15%), and Theme Alignment (10%). Judging decisions are final and binding. The organizer reserves the right not to award a prize in any category if, in its sole discretion, no eligible submission meets the required standards.
